Thank you for visiting our school website! Our site was specifically designed for parents, students, and staff members in an effort to rapidly and securely provide key information to the Montessori Academy community.
The easy-to-navigate menus will inform you about school events, lunch menus, fundraising activities, PTO and MATI (teacher training program) information, the school curriculum, the parent handbook, and lots of Montessori related articles. One additional section of interest, In the Classroom (a content directory maintained by our staff members and school volunteers), will provide you with information pertaining to specific classrooms and grade levels.
The website hosts an array of information that will be exclusively and securely shared with the Montessori Academy community. Only registered users [current parents and staff] will be able to access the classroom specific information.
A child who transfers from Montessori to a traditional kindergarten program will probably miss out on a great deal of learning that normally occurs during this crucial year. The kindergarten year is a critical component of the three-year Early Childhood Montessori program. This is the year when children's earlier experiences are internalized and reinforced. When they leave Montessori before kindergarten, many of their earlier learning experiences may be lost because they are not reinforced or commonly understood.

Drop Off
If you need to come into the main office, please park your vehicle in the designated parking spaces. This will ensure that the traffic flow during drop offs will remain efficient and safe. It is important that all parents and visitors to the East Campus refrain from parking at or driving through St. Edwards Church’s parking lot.
Dress Up and Drama Classes
We are in need of costumes for the children's Dress Up/Drama classes. If your child has outgrown their costume, please consider donating them to the school.
The children and the classroom teachers will be very grateful.
Instill Good Habits
Instill good habits by teaching your children to be prompt for school. Arriving late, not only cause interruptions in the classroom, but also hinder your child from learning many topics we teach at circle time.
