The Montessori Academy’s Parents-Teachers Organization is open to all parents and guardians of enrolled students, and acts as the organizing body for parent resources and volunteers whose intent is to enrich the student body and facilitate the continued growth of the community.

Dear Parents, Teachers and Students,
Montessori Academy PTO is a fraternal organization comprised of parents, family members, teachers and staff of Montessorians. Our primary purpose is to enhance the children's learning experience by promoting the methods, skills and values taught by Montessori Education.
The Montessori Academy PTO Board would like to welcome all of our new and returning students to the 2008-2009 School Year. We are looking forward to an exciting fun-filled year of events and wonderful activities for the entire Montessori Academy family. The Montessori Academy PTO is dedicated to supporting our children by providing parents and families with powerful tools and voices to ensure every child is successful, flourishes and reaches their goals while at Montessori Academy.
The Montessori Academy PTO is kindly asking you to become a member this school year. Your membership is essnetial to help cover the cost of PTO sponsored activities and programs that will enrich the learning experience of our children at Montessori Academy. When parents get involved in their children's education, the rewards are endless. Research shows that children whose parents are actively involved in their school, are more likely to:
- Earn higher grades and test scores
- Adapt better to school
- Attend school regularly
- Have better social skilles
- Have better behavior
- Graduate on to college
