We have just begun our 2010-2011 school year, and want to share the status and update on items that were presented to you during the past school year...

Our Elementary program has been is growing strong. The Elementary Team, with Ms. Ruthie, Ms. Vanessa, Ms. Elizabeth, Ms. Yoly, Mr. Pablo, and Ms. Danielle are preparing to take our elementary children through a journey, and prepare them for the challenges of today and beyond...
Classroom Computers
Classroom Computers
: We have rolled out the computers to all of our Elementary classroom. Our children are now able to research on the net, and will be able to utilize the research library that we have purchased for that purpose... This 2010-2011 we have included laptops for all our Upper Elementary studetsn, and this will be expanded next year to incorporate our Lower Elementary students as well... 

School Website: I am proud to say that it is FINALIZED... The redesign provides all of us with an interactive forum for communication between you and your child’s classrooms, while having access to information about the school, events, and programs. It also provides links that the students may access for research, and more.


books.jpgClassroom Materials: We have rolled out the distribution of new Encyclopedias and materials onto all of our Elementary classrooms. This allowed us to expand the available materials offering to our students.





Observation: We will communicate with you when you will be able to schedule observations of your child's classroom. We are looking to September as the month to reinitiate this events.


041.jpgPresidential Fitness Award: Ms. Chris [P.E. Teacher] is preparing the 2010-2011 structure to begin the children's preparation for this year's awards earlier. If you have not received your child's award, please contact ms. Chris the first week in September.





recorder_and_music_1_.pngMusic: the music program initiated in the 2007-2008 year was implemented to enhance our students’ exposure to the arts, and it is our joy to share with you that our 4th and 5th grade students are playing the recorded under the tutelage of Mr. Alexis.
